The mechanical stretch yarn manufactured by side-by-side conjugate spinning.
The side-by-side cross-section is composed of two polymers with different shrinkage.
When heat-treated, one polymer shrinks more than the other, thus forming a spiral-like crimp structure. These crimps made excellent elasticity, recovery, and lively bounce.

Compared with spandex cannot be recycled, the mechanical stretch yarn component can be recycled, it’s a better choice for the sustainability world.
